I am still in complete and utter shock, let alone in denial about this terrible death. Brittany Murphy who died on the 20th was only 32 years old, WAY too young to die. This talented, bubbly actress had a cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, apparently while in the shower.
The cause of death and cardiac arrest is still being investigated, but they are saying it appears to be a natural death. According to her mother, Brittany had been suffering from flu-like symptoms before she was found death. The media is all beginning to wonder if Brittany overdosed on drugs or had any type of addiction that would have caused this sudden and shocking death. Sources have been talking about how Brittany had tons of prescription drugs in her house, and she could have possibly overdosed on those. However, Simon Monjack (Brittany's husband) is furious about all the terrible drug assumptions and has stated that Brittany had absolutely no problem with drugs. Simon has said, "I'm confident it wasn't an overdose. She was not a drug addict…There's no question that's rubbish…My wife did not take anything on the morning of her death that would have caused her to be sick or ill, let alone die. It's beyond even the sickest speculation…The attacks on me, the attacks on my wife and suggestions that she was anorexic and drug addicted, it's like, look at the (recent) photographs. Look at that smile. That's not the smile of an anorexic or drug addict or someone in a bad marriage. That's someone who was content with her life."
Brittany's private memorial service was held on on Christmas Eve to honour her memory. People's hearts all over the world are going out to Brittany's family and friends at this time of sadness. Brittany Murphy was a talented young lady who has been in more than 25 movies, including some of the most know; “Clueless”, “Sin City”, “Uptown Girls”, “Just Married.” Although it is heartbreaking to hear of any death, Brittany has seemed to live a good life, with lots of success and her story can be used as a wake up call to many other young people.
Life is short and it's important it is to live every day like it's your last because one day, it will be.
Rest In Peace Brittany Murphy.
(I will be updating when more information about the cause of death is revealed)
